Description :
Provide engineering service and support to performing basic tasks requiring basic application of engineering fundamentals in support of the design modification, operation and independent assessment of facilities.
Perform basic analysis and designs in support of systems, programs and projects.
Perform problem resolution via plant process.
Assist in audits, test and inspections. Use engineering judgment in evaluating results or findings
Responsibilities
Provide independent engineering service and support by performing complex engineering tasks requiring specialized skills and broad experience in the application of engineering fundamentals in support of the design modification, operation, and independent assessment of Client’s facilities.
Provide technical guidance within assigned discipline or activity.
Develop engineering designs, construction documents, specifications, evaluations of existing systems, and work instructions.
Support systems, programs, audits, inspections, and assessments using skills and experience gained through application of engineering methods and analysis, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
May provide unconventional or advanced problem-solving techniques.
Routinely provide technical leadership on complex and / or extended programs and projects.
Integrate design, regulatory, operating maintenance, and administrative requirements into tasks.
Perform tasks within schedule and budget.
Ensure effective coordination of efforts with other departments and disciplines.
Work with minimum supervision.
Provide technical guidance to designers; check and review technical products of others.
Identify potential schedule or quality problems.
Experience
Preferred commercial electrical engineer with some knowledge of arc flash and medium voltage distribution. Backgrounds in other engineering disciplines are encouraged.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university or a PE license obtained by accredited examination and a minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering with WA state license preferred.
Skills
Requires knowledge and ability to select and apply basic discipline engineering principles, practices and theories and use of commonly applied engineering approaches and calculations.
Education
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
