Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with expertise in electronics and electrical troubleshooting.
- The role primarily involves integrating electronics into tools, including cabling, routing, installation, and mid-to-low level troubleshooting using multimeters to measure continuity and voltage.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical subsystems and mechanical assembly while working in a controlled cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting of electrical systems, ensuring all components function correctly and debugging any issues that arise.
- Cable Installation & Routing: Install and connect cables to power supplies, controllers, and other systems.
- Redlining Documentation: Mark up work instructions, schematics, and cable drawings for accuracy and updates.
- Mechanical Assembly: Assist with medium-complexity mechanical assembly when needed.
- Cleanroom Work: Work in a controlled cleanroom environment, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- System Integration & Testing: Ensure all electrical systems function correctly and debug any issues that arise during integration and testing.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics, electrical troubleshooting, or tool building.
- Experience working with electrical panels, power distribution units, breakers, relays, and contactors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for schematic markups.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and handle physical aspects of cabling and installation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
