About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Safety and Compliance Manager to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors working at our client's North American Parts distribution center.
The successful candidate will serve as a swing-shift safety professional, supporting the 1st shift Safety team and providing coverage for half of the 2nd shift operation. Key responsibilities will include conducting accident, incident, and near miss investigations, developing and implementing corrective actions, and assisting with the development of compliance training programs.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing mobile equipment certifications and certification tracking, serving as a general resource for risk identification, auditing, and control, and providing support to the 2nd shift NAPDC operation.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong background in safety, preferably in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
- Safety degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- CSP accreditation preferred
