Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, hands-on, experienced bookkeeper to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of the business, including accounts payable and receivable, daily invoicing, payroll support, and monthly financial reporting. This is a key role that ensures the financial health and organization of our company.

US Test Co is a small but fast-growing fuel system compliance and service company serving clients across Texas. We are a tight-knit team dedicated to delivering top-quality service to our commercial clients. As we grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable bookkeeper to manage our daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Issue daily invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments
- Record and reconcile daily transactions (bank, credit card, etc.)
- Prepare and organize monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist with payroll processing and reporting
- Work with external accountant for month-end close and compliance
- Help with budget tracking and cash flow monitoring
- Organize receipts, expense reports, and vendor records
- Communicate with clients or vendors as needed regarding billing and payments
Qualifiications:
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (preferably in a small business environment). While more experience is preferable, we’re open to candidates who are highly organized, eager to learn, and motivated to grow their career in bookkeeping and accounting.
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting applications is essential.
- Experience with invoicing, A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with accounts payable functions and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in construction, service-based, or compliance industries
- Familiarity with Jobber or similar field service software
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
