Warehouse Associate
We specialize in work zone traffic control. We are looking to hire 1 full-time permanent, warehouse personnel to work with our family owned, construction-based safety company.
Essential Functions:
- Stock warehouse and ensure daily order and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Pulling and assembling equipment and signage as directed.
- Breaking down all signage returned to warehouse and putting away materials.
- Greeting customers as necessary and informing manager of their arrival.
- Maintaining order of yard.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Following safety precautions.
Education, Experience, Skills and Ability:
- Sign Shop experience- printing/cutting/use of vinyl
- A high school diploma (or equivalent)
- A valid Driver’s License is required to operate company trucks.
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background check including driving.
- Basic reading/writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork and knowledge of safety regulations is also required.
- Candidates must possess good knowledge of state and local roadways and have experience with operating delivery vehicles of varying sizes.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds for long periods of time and knowledge of safety procedures for securing and transporting cargo is essential.
- Previous experience in traffic control set ups in required.
- Must have some mechanical background/experience.
- Must be able to work nights/weekends as project demands.
Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in heavy manual labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
