Operations Manager - Dual B License

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager with a dual B license in Drinking Water and Wastewater for our Florida-based operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day professional operational activities of an assigned region.
• Assist with Environmental Compliance, reporting, facility inspections, and responding to Regulatory inquiries.
• Maintain dual (Water and Wastewater) Florida Operator Certifications.
• Provide Capital Improvement Planning recommendations for each facility.
• Assist in proposal writing and meeting with potential clients.
• Evaluate and implement company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Dual B-Drinking Water and B-Wastewater license in the State of Florida.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience related to Water Plant Operations.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications, licenses, or registration as required by the position in the State of Florida.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to troubleshoot water plants, coordinate own and others' actions, manage own time, and manage staff resources. Ability to communicate effectively to clients, staff, and management both verbally and in writing.
