We are a well-established and diverse water and wastewater utility organization specializing in utility maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. Our company is headquartered in New Port Richey, Florida, with a staff of over 850 employees across twenty states.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day professional operational activities of an assigned region. This includes Environmental Compliance, reporting, facility inspections, responding to Regulatory inquiries, and attending meetings and planning sessions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience related to Water Plant Operations, including 3 years of lead or supervisory experience. A minimum of Intermediate computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications, license, or registration as required by the position in the State of Florida.
- Must have an Active FL B-Drinking Water and B-Wastewater license.
- Ability to troubleshoot water plants mechanical knowledge of machines and tools.
- Strong understanding and expression of written and verbal English.
- Intermediate Computer skills with Excel, Word, Project, and CMMS Databases.
