JOBSUMMARY
This is a Financeposition responsible for monitoring the quality of perishableproducts in the warehouse on an ongoing basis, inputting ordersthrough data entry while performing extensive customer serviceduties, and performing other related duties as required. Regularlyexercises discretion and independent judgment in performing dutiesdirectly related to the general operation of produce qualitycontrol.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checkproduce in slots daily to make certain product that is set up forshipping is up to acceptablestandards.
- Communicate with buyers all qualityissues and assists them in resolving them to ensure the customerreceives the highest quality productspossible.
- Ensure products are being rotatedproperly during daily slot checking, and communicate any problemswith rotation to the stockers and / or supervisorsresponsible.
- Monitor variance reports foraccurate accounting of spoilage, warehouse damage, truck damage,etc.
- Greet all internal and external customersin a friendly and efficient manner to ensure that proper customerservice is maintained and customer satisfaction and organizationalefficiency are enhanced.
- Inspect inboundfreight, warehoused product, and / or outbound product and documentproduct condition.
- Correspond regularly withnecessary parties on the company's status on productquality.
- Analyze, identify, and propose actionto the solution of problems associated with QualityAssurance.
- Observe all safety rules,regulations, and sanitationpolicies.
