Job Summary
This position involves performing high-level diagnostic and repair work on heavy duty trucks and equipment to maintain the safety and efficiency of our fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance tasks on company-owned vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, using advanced tools and software.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to develop and implement efficient maintenance strategies and improve overall fleet performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in heavy duty truck maintenance and repair.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on diagnostic and repair work.
- ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks, as well as annual inspector certification and brake inspector certification, are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other technicians and stakeholders.
