Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative, residence based in Wisconsin.

Air Products is a world-leading Industrial Gases company having both process gas applications and gasification technology that has been in operation for over 80 years. We have multiple product lines, over 750 production facilities in over 50 countries, and serve over 30 different industries, creating broad opportunities for growth and development. And we are growing!

This Outside, Business to Business sales position will sell Microbulk and small bulk cryogenic industrial gases (e.g., nitrogen, oxygen, and argon) to a wide variety of market segments including hospitals, life sciences, laboratories, food packagers, metals fabrication and general industrial sites in the Milwaukee, WI territory!

Primary responsibilities include new customer acquisition, meeting or exceeding assigned revenues and profit targets and completing new account initiation in a timely and detailed manner.

  • Strong selling/influence/persuasion/closing skills
  • Highly competitive
  • Comfortable conducting face to face cold calls with businesses within the local territory daily
  • Critical thinking
  • Lead pipeline of 50 prospects
  • Well-adapted work habits

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently, with excellent listening skills, making sales calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire to be in outside sales
  • Ability to overcome objectives and retain a positive attitude
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and your own vehicle
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
