Description
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for sales initiatives by developing and securing new business and maintaining existing business. You will oversee all design, development, and communication of planning activities that ensure market competitiveness and organizational excellence.
Listing of duties below:
- Develop new markets and clients.
- Research and understand competitive landscape within markets, regions, and clients.
- Establish strategic plans to achieve sales objectives for products and services; monitor and analyze sales against goals.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coordination for sales and customer service activities.
- Assist in developing business strategy and budgets with the management team.
- Serve all assigned customers, and act as a customer liaison, including the regular use of discretionary power; report all customer concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Review open order status and requests for quotes, and monitor rejections.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, key accounts, and strategic partners.
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Support cross-functional teams that focus on managing our customers.
- Complete continuous improvement projects for the department and company as needed.
- Follow and comply with all safety regulations, work rules, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual that can bring in 3-5 years' of sales and strategic management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Valid drivers license is required.
