Airgas is currently seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to be based out of Germantown, WI to generate sales and manage customer relationships. You will be responsible for prospecting new clients, enhancing partnerships, building rapport with existing customers, and growing your overall territory. You must have the ability to convert prospects into long-term Airgas customers by building relationships and fulfilling needs with quality service.
You will establish new customers and expand business with existing customers; sharing product knowledge, pricing negotiation and supply chain fulfillment through effective sales skills and customer service practices over the telephone. What will I be doing?
As with any sales role, you’ll succeed through frequent customer contact, development of a sales pipeline, and development of successful habits that drive above plan performance and rewards.
Each day would be different from the next in an interactive fast paced environment.
The initial training period is 4 weeks but you will continue to receive ongoing training & development to help you succeed.
Communication with our customers is energetic, lively and free flowing.
Once you have completed the training and introductory period successfully, you will be eligible to manage existing customers in the territory. Upon being assigned a sizable additional responsibility, you will earn additional compensation.
This is an inside sales role and the beginning of a rewarding career with Airgas. You will manage a territory, plan your sales pipeline and professionally work to maintain and grow business through use of the telephone and digital means. You will work closely with our stores, distribution centers, and field personnel.

Compensation will be determined by skills & experience. We provide our team a BASE salary rate, in addition to a monthly incentive bonus. Additional income is realized through promotional winnings and a lucrative over-goal commission when achieved.
