Kingsford is the leading manufacturer of charcoal in the United States and our charcoal has become synonymous with authentic grilling, good food and most importantly, good times. Starting Hourly Rate - $24.95 plus $1.00 shift differential on the night shift Work Schedule – 12-hour shifts 8-day rotation of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off Day shift hours are 7am – 7pm Night shift hours are 7pm – 7am This job posting closes on February 16, 2024. In this role, you will: The Production Worker is responsible for the processing, manufacture, packaging, storing and distribution of charcoal briquettes. The Production Worker may be assigned to work in any of these areas of the plant: Retort – In the Retort department we convert wood waste to char that goes into the charcoal briquettes Briquetting – In the Briquetting department we combine the char and other raw materials to create the charcoal briquette Packaging – In the Packaging department we operate machines that package finished charcoal briquettes into bags Warehouse – In the Warehouse we store finished bags of charcoal briquettes for shipments to customers or other warehouses What we look for: To be considered for this role, individuals must: Be currently employed for at least one (1) year continuously AND Submit a current resume in Word or PDF format (no images) Our team vision is “Everyone, every day working together to produce a quality product while upholding safety as a core value, and striving to achieve Global Manufacturing Excellence.” We operate as a team, and we appreciate and expect each member of our team to actively participate in contributing ideas as we shape our future.
