As the National Training Complex Operations Intern, you will support the operational and logistical needs of USA Baseball’s events at the National Training Complex (NTC) in Cary, North Carolina. Reporting to the Coordinator of National Training Complex Operations, you will serve as a liaison between USA Baseball and the Town of Cary, assist with event preparation and execution, and manage game-day staff to ensure a seamless experience for teams and attendees.

POSITION DETAILS
- Full-time hours (40 hours/week)
- On-site Hybrid
- Based in Cary, NC and primarily works events uses a flexible workspace in office as needed

IN THIS ROLE
- You will act as the on-site liaison between USA Baseball and the Town of Cary, facilitating communication and logistics for all events at the NTC.
- You will assist in hiring, managing, and coordinating game-day staff to support the successful execution of USA Baseball events.
- You will oversee facility operational needs for National Team programs and events hosted at the NTC, ensuring readiness and efficiency.
- You will support event preparation, including field set-up, signage installation, and game-day logistics.
- You will assist with receiving and distributing equipment for USA Baseball’s National Team programs.
- You will contribute to the operation of other USA Baseball events, programs, and departments, such as alumni relations, merchandising, and travel services, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have a flexible schedule with weekday and weekend availability to support all USA Baseball events at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using its suite of tools effectively.
- You are capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. as part of your responsibilities.
- You possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- You can successfully complete a background check prior to employment.
