Job Overview

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Duties

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and ensure patient readiness for endoscopy
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, maintaining a sterile field and monitoring patient vital signs
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Monitor patients post-procedure, assessing for any complications or adverse reactions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records in compliance with regulatory standards

Experience

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in emergency medicine protocols
• Knowledge of sonography for endoscopy guidance
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation
• Experience in pain management techniques during procedures
• Ability to work with laboratory results related to endoscopic findings

Nice-to-Have Skills: * Understanding of working with people with disabilities in a healthcare setting

• Competency in airway management for patients undergoing endoscopy
• Knowledge of infectious disease care and prevention measures
• Certification in basic life support (BLS)
• Experience in medication administration within an endoscopy unit

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $66.00 - $74.00 per hour
