Duties
- Perform pre-procedure assessments and ensure patient readiness for endoscopy
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, maintaining a sterile field and monitoring patient vital signs
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients post-procedure, assessing for any complications or adverse reactions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Experience
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in emergency medicine protocols
- Knowledge of sonography for endoscopy guidance
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation
- Experience in pain management techniques during procedures
- Ability to work with laboratory results related to endoscopic findings
Nice-to-Have Skills: * Understanding of working with people with disabilities in a healthcare setting
- Competency in airway management for patients undergoing endoscopy
- Knowledge of infectious disease care and prevention measures
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)
- Experience in medication administration within an endoscopy unit

Pay: $66.00 - $74.00 per hour
