The USA Hockey Foundation, in support of USA Hockey, seeks a dynamic and philanthropic minded professional to serve as the Donor Operations Coordinator under the direction of the Director of Donor Relations. The individual will be responsible for the daily implementation of the database management and gift processing functions within the Foundation and for ensuring accuracy and timely handling of all gift information in support of the Foundation’s operations. The individual will also participate in creating a positive donor experience through the ability to engage with donors by executing effective online fundraising and engagement programs.

The individual will be responsible for the daily implementation of the database management and gift processing functions within the Foundation and for ensuring accuracy and timely handling of all gift information in support of the Foundation’s operations. The individual will also participate in creating a positive donor experience through the ability to engage with donors by executing effective online fundraising and engagement programs.
Position Responsibilities
- Understand, uphold, and promote the ethical standards and core values of the
- Learn and understand how the Foundation interacts with USA Hockey and other USA Hockey-affiliate related nonprofit organizations that the Foundation supports.
- Entering, recording, and receipting all gifts made to the Foundation with the expectation of committing all gifts within 1-3 business days of receipt.
- Ensuring the accuracy and cleanliness of donor data within the CRM system.
- Preparing and providing the information needed for all acknowledgements and tribute letters to Director with the expectation of delivering them to donors within 1-3 business days of the receipt of the gift.
- Answering and assisting all donors and prospects that call into the primary
- Reminding donors of upcoming pledge payments (via printed and electronic reminders).
- Resolving issues related to credit card transactions, i.e., credit card errors, declines and invalid credit cards. Review and complete all gift adjustments.
- Sending weekly donation reports to the Foundation team.
- Validating the accuracy of all gifts that are entered in the system by partnering with
- Analyzing donor data and developing strategies to enhance donor retention and relations, while improving overall donor experience.
- Testing all donor interaction procedures and making sure the most efficient approaches are prioritized.
- Staying current on industry technology, data management practices and tax/legal issues related to gifts processing and constituent records.
- Setting up and managing Foundation’s online jersey auctions.
- Preparing and distributing physical annual and seasonal mailings and emails
- Attending and managing gift processing at offsite events as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience working with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge CRM database.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including letter formats, mail merges and spreadsheets.
- Associates degree with applicable work experience.
- Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours a week.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in CRM gift processing, database management or similar field.
- Efficient at identifying and resolving issues related to CRM system functionality or donor data inaccuracies.
- Experience managing and communicating processes and procedures.
- Experience in non-profit or higher education fundraising within the context of a comprehensive campaign.
- Annual salary is $56,485
