What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Event Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events, including corporate conferences, large-scale employee training sessions, community campaigns, weddings, and private celebrations. Your expertise will ensure every detail runs smoothly, from initial concept to flawless execution.
- Event Planning & Execution: Lead and manage events of various scales, ranging from small meetings of 25 participants to large conferences with over 3,000 attendees, ensuring every aspect aligns with client goals
- Event Development & Coordination: Contribute to the creation and execution of every element of the event, including food and beverage, décor, layouts, audio-visual setups, and activations, to create impactful experiences
- Attendee Management: Handle key logistics, including coordinating rooming lists, managing RSVPs, and overseeing transportation details to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Vendor & Venue Sourcing: Assist in sourcing and selecting hotels and venues that meet client needs. Support the contract review and negotiation process to secure optimal rates and services
- Marketing & Communications Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Communications teams to design and produce event materials, such as name badges, collateral, banners, and signage, ensuring brand alignment
- Budget Tracking & Expense Management: Track and report event expenses, ensuring all financial aspects remain within budget while meeting client expectations
- Event Feedback & Reporting: Draft and distribute post-event surveys to gather feedback, analyzing results and reporting on event performance to upper management for continuous improvement
- Employee Programs & Community Initiatives: Assist with coordination of employee programs and community engagement events when required, supporting company initiatives that strengthen the team culture

- Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management or Related Field: A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field will provide a strong foundation for this role
- Experience in Corporate Event Planning: 2 years of experience in planning and managing corporate events, conferences, and employee programs is highly desirable
- Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to manage complex projects, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Flexibility in Schedule: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays to support event schedules and timelines
- Physical Requirements: Some physical activity may be required for event setup and breakdown
- Occasional Travel: The role may require occasional travel to various event locations to ensure successful execution
