USA Sport Group is at the forefront of providing high-quality sports enrichment programs to over 60,000 children annually. With classes and camps taking place in over 400 towns across NY, NJ & CT including preschool sports, soccer, tennis, basketball, t-ball, and more, we are always on the lookout for great people to join our team.
As a USA Sport Group Intern you will gain hands-on work experience at an exciting, fast-paced, sports company. USA Sport Group internships can provide you with college course credits (depending on school requirements), or simply provide necessary work experience to prepare you for your future career.
The Business Development & Sales Internship is designed for students studying or those aspiring towards a career in business management, business administration, project management, sales or marketing. Students will gain knowledge and experience in business expansion & growth, increasing revenues and profits, SEO, and online marketing.
You will work under the guidance of the Business Development Director to develop existing business processes and implement new projects. You will assist in all areas of the business including but not limited to marketing, sales, client and customer relations, and website development. You will conduct market research into areas of business expansion and sales, and be given the opportunity to analyze and report back your findings.
Part of your experience will include assisting with the sales of new products & services, where you will research, call and email prospective clients and customers. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist the advertising of sports camps and classes to prospective customers
- Evaluate & update company website content (web development skills are not required)
- Assist in improving SEO of company websites through various methods
- Make recommendations for improvements to business processes..

Flexible Internships Available
- 6-12 weeks of work experience
- 10-20 hours per week
- A blend of virtual and onsite hours can be offered
- Customizable hours based around your studies
- Earn course credits
Semester Overview
- Fall: 10-week semester. Start middle of September through November.
- Spring 1: 10-week semester. Start late January to beginning of April.
- Spring 2: 10-week semester. Start beginning of April to the middle of June.
- Summer: 8 to 10-week semester. Start middle of June through August.
