Manager, Video & Creative Services

Job Summary

The Manager, Video & Creative Services, is an integral position within USA Swimming’s Commercial Team. This position is responsible for creating video and creative visual assets to align with USA Swimming’s marketing brand.  The Manager, Video & Creative Services, is also responsible for partnering across the organization to assist with marketing, membership, USA Swimming Network and social media needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit and archive footage for all USA Swimming platforms, with a special emphasis on the USA Swimming Network.
• Operate camera systems and filming equipment to capture video and photo content.
• Create animations and graphics for social and video.
• Review and assess creative briefs with the Sr. Director, Creative & Productions, other internal departments, and the creative services team.
• Coordinate with creative services team members to fulfill requests contained in creative/video briefs.
• Ensure creative work adheres to the organization’s visual identity and branding guidelines.
• Manage versioning as required.
• Current knowledge of creative video and design environments, trends, and new technology platforms.
• Manage outside vendors to assure brand consistency to any final product.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Knowledge of brand hierarchies and standards implementation.

• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while not losing sight of details and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in videography, graphic design, related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working video production/video editing.
• Experience using various camera systems and filming equipment.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working with basic still photography.
• Knowledge of online/digital art production and techniques.
  • Drawing ability a plus.
• Experience working in graphic design.
• Creative drive to explore new approaches to video storytelling.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel, both domestically and internationally, up to 10% of the year.
• Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
• This position works in an office setting in the USA Swimming headquarters office in Colorado Springs, CO; must be willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO, or the surrounding area.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
• Bonus Eligibility: Based on company performance, this position may be eligible for an annual target bonus of 7.5%.
