We are currently hiring a PLC Programmer for a growing company in the Greater Seattle area.
As a PLC Programmer, you will complete industrial programming projects by configuring and commissioning Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and networking equipment that require custom software configuration.
PLC Programmer essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Salary: $80,000-$110,000

- Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs.
- Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.
- Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
- Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.
- Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Troubleshooting system errors.
- Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.
- Documenting development processes.
- Providing clients with technical support.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field or equivalent on the job experience
- 2 years’ experience as a PLC Programmer
- Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs
