Production Lead

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Production Lead for a rapidly growing manufacturing company in the Skagit Valley region.

As the Manufacturing Lead, you will ensure the safe and efficient production of products by supervising a team of manufacturing technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the training of manufacturing personnel.
• Maintain and continuously foster a safe and rewarding working environment and procedures, including timely communication initiatives.
• Increase productivity by training team on improved processes and procedures to ease the manufacturing of goods and eliminate waste.
• Provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
• Identify and resolve production line issues in a timely manner.
• Create and enable an environment where employees will have opportunities for personal development and growth.
• Perform recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order tracking.
• Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• 3 years’ experience as a manufacturing technician, machine operator, or production specialist in an automated or machine-shop environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes
• Experience leading and training team members

Pay: $23-$28/hr
