Facilities Technician NF-03.

Duties

• Cleans and maintains and moves recreation and gym equipment, supplies, and facility area. Performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Prepares work orders for maintenance beyond self-help. Polices interior and exterior areas of buildings and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use.
• Assists with setting up/conducting facility events.
• Assists with equipment record keeping.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs inoperable gym equipment.

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work days and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop and move exercise equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

1 Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above.

• Must have and retain a valid driver's license.

Best Qualified Criteria

Possess at least 4 months experience maintaining Fitness Facility and gym equipment

OR

Possess 4 months maintaining equipment necessary for general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/outdoor courts ready for use OR

Possess 6 months general repair technician experience in any field.

PCS Costs

• Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
  
  

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials

• This is a pay-banded position.
• Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
• Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
  
  

Incentives and Bonuses

• Incentives will not be paid.
  
  

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
