- You must be a US Citizen or US National.

- Domestic and international travel (approximately 25% or less) is required as an essential function of the job.
- Periodically, the workload during a disease outbreak may require considerable time outside of normal duty hours.
- Regular duties may involve mandatory participation in rotating overtime work schedules, and other time-sensitive work may be required in the evenings, on weekends, and holidays.

Basic Requirement
- Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.
- Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph 1 above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining complex datasets.
- Works with data management tools such as data dictionaries, data warehousing, data mining, data archiving, data disposal, and data standardization processes.
- Works with large data sets to include collecting, exploring, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large amounts of data to discover underlying patterns and trends.
- Implements processes for developing written technical and operational support documentation. Example may include developing project plans, data management plans, entity relationship diagrams, project charters, process flow diagrams, governance, project schedules.

- First time hires to the federal government normally start at the lowest rate of the salary range for the grade selected.

- Locality pay will vary based upon the selectee's duty location. A final salary determination will be made upon selection.

- Worksite Information: This is a 100% remote position that must be located within the 50 United States, its territories, or possessions. The duty station for a remote designation is the selectee's home and must be established within the defined geographic options prior to start date. The selectee is not required to regularly work from a government facility however, the option may be available.
