Come join our team as a Member Service Representative.
The Teller Member Service Representative is responsible for interacting with members who wish to perform cash transactions- or utilize other services. As the face of the credit union, greeting members and offering assistance are essential - as well as following standard operating procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete every transaction efficiently with minimal posting errors, if any.
- Maintain a cash drawer. This includes but is not limited to: ensuring box is locked when it is not in your presence, cash organization, accurately balance checks and daily work.
- Use the cash counter in with every cash in/out transaction.
- Cross-sell products and services that could benefit the member and contribute to the growth of the credit union.
- Work within a group/team-oriented environment.
- Be courteous and polite at all times.
- Responsible for closing loans, opening new account, and/or accepting loan applications.
- Our members depend on our front line staff for access to their hard-earned money, as well as assistance with our products and services. Therefore, being at work on time is crucial.
- Scan and verify documentation as needed, assist with online banking, and mobile app calls.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor as needed, including temporarily covering other branch locations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent math skills.

- Thorough understanding of customer service.
- Sales focused and goal oriented.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Cash handling required.
- Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.
- Previous experience working on loan processing is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Must be able to pass credit check.
- Must be able to pass drug screening.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Schedule available:
Monday to Friday 9:15am to 6:15 pm, with a rotating Saturday 7:45am to 12:15pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
