This position will include teaching, clinical practice, research, and service to the college and the profession. Didactic teaching will be aligned with expertise. All clinical faculty must maintain a practice site suitable for experiential learning. The proposed practice setting will be at one of the excellent hospitals in the region we are partnered with or our flagship hospital Tampa General Hospital.

• TEACHING: 30% as assigned
• CLINICAL DUTIES: 30% Efforts may be dedicated to activities that align with the incumbent's professional discipline.
• SERVICE / ADMINISTRATIVE: 25% As assigned.
• RESEARCH DUTIES: 10% Efforts May be dedicated to research activities that align with the incumbent's professional discipline.
• OTHER DUTIES: 5% As assigned.
• Directly reports to the Department Chair.
• Responsible for student success coaching, mentoring, and related activities.
• May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or professional organization committees.
  
  

Minimum

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited academic program
• Completion of at least one year of post-graduate training at an accredited institution.
• Evidence of creative work, professional writing, or research in refereed and other professional journals.
• Must meet university criteria for appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor.
• For Associate Professor: Must have strong record of research/publication, teaching, service, and clinical experience.
  
  

Preferred

• Prior teaching experience in a Doctor of Pharmacy program.
• Completion of a PGY-2 residency with focus on adult medicine/internal medicine/pharmacotherapy or fellowship.
• Clinical faculty with joint degrees (MPH, MHA, MBA, etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Clinical applicants with board certification are encouraged to apply.
