The Business Operations Analyst II is responsible for collaborating with the team to analyze and optimize existing business processes, manage documentation, and perform IT asset, vehicle, and space management tasks.

This position also develops analytics and reporting for various IT Business Operations functions and requires maintaining proficiency in all IT Business Operations (ITBO) processes, acting as a backup to the supervisor, and staying up to date with relevant University processes, procedures, and guidelines.

• IT Asset Management: Lead and coordinate quarterly inventories and annual asset audits. Ensure accurate data maintenance in Jira Assets and oversee daily inventory management for teams.
• IT Space Management: Manage departmental work order requests and coordinate complex facilities-driven projects. Oversee building key and card access requests for IT personnel. Maintain and update comprehensive space management documentation.
• IT Vehicle Fleet Management: Act as the backup for administrative functions. Coordinate vehicle maintenance with USF Facilities and IT teams, ensuring timely and efficient service. Maintain detailed vehicle records and oversee the vehicle disposal process using Jira Assets.
• Process Optimization: Lead the team in analyzing and refining existing business processes. Implement enhancements to task management software (e.g., Jira) for operational tasks. Develop and utilize advanced reporting tools to analyze operational data related to asset management, vehicle management, space management, and IT communications. Oversee the development and management of ITBO documentation and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• General Support: Maintain proficiency in all ITBO functions for operational backup. Stay informed on University policies and procedures relevant to ITBO functions and ensure team compliance.

Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
