What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations SME, J73 position at USfalcon, Inc.?
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as an Operations SME, J73 to work out of Offutt AFB, NE.
Essential Duties:
- Serve as a J73 exercise planner
- Provide exercise subject matter expertise to support the planning and execution of exercises to facilitate the requisite integration with the global DoD exercise community.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and support for conferences and milestone events related to joint exercises or wargames, such as Concept Development Conference (CDC), Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Mid-Planning Conference (MPC), Final Planning Conference (FPC), and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Synchronization Conference (SYNCH).
- Chair planning work groups as determined by the joint exercise or wargame lead planner and Branch Chief.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Joint doctrine and planning processes, including end-to-end operations and processes from National-level decision making through Unit-level execution.
- Personnel shall have a background/experience in global strike, cyber, space, IMD or NC3.
- Must be knowledgeable of, and able to speak authoritatively on, all aspects of their assigned mission area including planning, operations, mission systems, advocacy, assessments, and related processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience at the USSTRATCOM is highly desirable.
Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
