Position Description:
1. As part of our efforts to improve productivity and quality control, your responsibility will be to develop and implement state-of-the-art Computer Vision models with custom-built applications deployed within our manufacturing environment. This includes accurate image annotation and model training.
2. Participate in existing Computer Vision projects and assist in the scoping and estimating of future projects.
3. Assist in on-going documentation of the Computer Vision pipeline
Qualifications:
1. Pursuing a Masters degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics with an interest in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
2. Python skills:
a. Proficiency in Python programming, including OpenCV, Pillow, React, Streamlit, Gradio libraries
b. Experience in manipulating video and image data
c. Familiarity with accessing RTSP Streams (Real Time Video Streaming Protocol)
d. Experience with API's
e. Experience with Linear Regression techniques using scikit-learn.
3. MLOps skills:
a. PyTorch (Yolov5/8), Keras or other ML frameworks
b. Strong analytical abilities, interpreting model evaluation metrics to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
c. Proficiency in Git version control system, specifically with Gitlow branching model
d. Skilled at containerizing applications using Docker and managing containers. Kubernetes/Docker swarm mode a plus
e. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and strong understanding of network concepts and security.
4. Data Science skills:
a. Data collection and preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and modeling.
b. Experience with modeling regressors using tabular data and other advanced modeling techniques.
5. Self-starter with good organizational skills to be able to handle multiple activities. Has a high level of integrity to maintain safeguards on intellectual property.
6. Good interpersonal and (verbal and written) communication skills to effectively interact within a diverse, fast-paced workforce environment.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
