Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect 2 to work with the State of Ohio Financials PeopleSoft system (OAKS) alongside the functional team. This role will assist with customizing PeopleSoft pages, identifying new functionalities, writing functional design documents, testing interface files, and providing production support. The successful candidate will be proficient in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 and have a strong understanding of PeopleSoft architectures, integrations, and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the functional team to enhance the PeopleSoft Financials (OAKS) system.
• Customize PeopleSoft pages and identify new functionality to meet the State of Ohio's requirements.
• Write and document functional design documents and specifications.
• Test interface files, ensuring proper integration between systems.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production problems.
• Conduct research and analysis using PeopleSoft tables and structures.
• Review PeopleSoft code to identify root causes and customizations.
• Develop custom inbound and outbound interface files for banking and other external systems.
• Support PeopleSoft lifecycle testing, identifying testing conditions, business risks, and alternative solutions.
• Create enhancement documentation, including requirements gathering, business analysis, and configuration.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely delivery and quality results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, including customization and development.
• Strong knowledge of integration points between modules and PeopleSoft architectures.
• Experience with PeopleSoft application engines and development tools.
• Proficiency in Application Designer and People Tools, including Integration Broker, Web Services, and EIP's.
• Competency in Oracle and Windows server environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in project management.
• Expertise in PS Query and familiarity with MFT and other file mover software.
• Experience in creating custom interface files with external systems, particularly banking systems.
• Experience with production support and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review PeopleSoft code and identify issues or customizations.
• Experience with lifecycle testing and documenting enhancements.
• Familiarity with government enterprise solutions.
• Must be on call 24/7 for emergency support.

Preferred:

• Experience working in a large Government enterprise environment.
