Your Role :
As the Materials Manager, you will :
Oversee Material Movement : Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory to meet production schedules and exceed customer expectations.Drive Efficiency : Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and enhance material flow.Lead a Team : Supervise and mentor the shipping, receiving, and inventory staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities :
Identify and implement improvements in material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.Develop and maintain efficient processes for material handling, storage, and movement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align materials management with overall business objectives.Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety standards, and documentation accuracy.Align material flow with production schedules to minimize downtime.Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock adjustments, and accuracy metrics.Analyze materials data to monitor performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, shipping metrics, and material availability.Track KPIs such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and shipping lead times.Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.What We’re Looking For :
Education & Credentials : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or certifications like CSCP, CPIM are a plus).
Experience : 7-10 years of proven leadership experience in materials management, preferably in the Industrial Gas Turbine or Aerospace industries.
Leadership Skills : Ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Analytical Mindset : Skilled in analyzing data and implementing insights to improve processes.
Collaboration : Strong ability to work cross-functionally with production, procurement, and other departments.

Lead, mentor, and develop the Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvementAssign tasks, set goals, and manage performance to ensure the team meets project deadlines and quality standards; maintain appropriate metrics to drive performanceEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.Minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience in material management leadershipPrior experience within the Industrial Gas Turbine or Aerospace industries preferredCORE VALUES :
