We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take charge of our manufacturing facility, overseeing the production of high-quality industrial gas turbine components. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead & Manage: Oversee daily operations across CNC Machining, Welding, Assembly, Deburring, and Maintenance teams. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Optimize Processes: Implement and refine Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance while exemplifying a problem-solving mindset
Ensure Quality & Compliance: Adhere strictly to ISO9001:2015, AS9100, and Aerospace Manufacturing standards. Work closely with quality teams to identify and correct any issues.
Budget & Resource Management: Develop and oversee operations budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high performance.
Collaboration & Strategy: Cross-functionally align with supply chain, inventory management, and leadership teams to align production goals with business objectives.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Management (Master’s preferred). Proven leadership in a manufacturing setting, preferably in Aerospace or Industrial Gas Turbines.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and industrial machining, welding, and assembly processes.
Strong Leadership: Experience managing teams, making hiring decisions, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving operational excellence.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:This position oversees the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality industrial gas turbine components. Responsibilities include managing resources, optimizing processes, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and uphold the company's standards for quality and efficiency.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the entire manufacturing process, ensuring production schedules are met.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
- Develop Operations project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and inventory
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
SPECIFIC DUTIES ASSIGNED:
- Analyze department plan regularly to identify areas of improvement for allocation of operations budget
- Develop and manage the Operations budget while monitoring cost and implementing cost-saving measures
- Ensure all machined, welded, and assembled products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications
- Coordinate with the supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components
- Stay knowledgeable of market changes within relevant industries (Industrial Gas Turbine, Aerospace, etc.)
- Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Maintain appropriate metrics to drive performance in on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and production output
- Lead initiatives to reduce lead time, waste, downtime while improving process flow
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly responsible for the following teams: CNC Machining, Weld, Assembly, Deburr, and Maintenance
- Involvement with interviews, hiring decisions, directing/delegating work, performance appraisals, employee discipline, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an operations manager or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace or turbine industry.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Preferred
- Experience and knowledge in ISO9001:2015, AS9100, and Aerospace Manufacturing required
