Position Title: Growth Logistics Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-time Regular

Location: Remote

Travel Required: 20%

Position Summary: 

The Growth Logistics Manager is a highly organized, proactive manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of USHP’s real estate and facility growth needs including but not limited to: lease negotiation, establishment, and ongoing management, space buildouts, and the associated diagnostics and expansion activities related to each space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-site healthcare practice logistical needs and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully with the purpose of driving operational excellence, enhancing cost-efficiency, and ensuring streamlined inventory and procurement processes across the organization.

 

Responsibilities may include:

Strategic Optimization of Supply Chain and Build Out Strategies:

  • Implement Supply Chain Strategies with the intent of optimizing supply chain processes leading to better decision-making through improved data management and reporting and ensuring timely access to accurate information across the organization.
  • Proactively manage inventory to reducing supply chain disruptions though the monitoring and optimization of inventory levels leading to operational continuity, unnecessary delays or excess stock.

Lease Management:

  • Manage existing leases, including renewals, amendments, and compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Evaluate and negotiate lease agreements for new spaces or expansions.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely execution.

Space Buildouts and Expansion:

  • Oversee and manage the buildout process for new spaces, including diagnostics centers and facility expansions.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to develop and implement design plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals.
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Diagnostics and Vendor Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all diagnostic-related activities, including identifying needs for diagnostic equipment, testing facilities, and supply chains.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors supplying diagnostics equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Foster relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality products and services, competitive pricing, and on-time deliveries.
  • Evaluate new vendors and assess product innovations to improve facility operations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure appropriate stock levels of diagnostic supplies and equipment.

Budget and Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for lease negotiations, space buildouts, and diagnostic equipment or supply purchases.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality of products or services.
  • Monitor ongoing project costs and partner with leadership team to adjust budgets as necessary to ensure financial targets are met.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various internal departments (operations, finance, legal, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the status of leasing, buildouts, diagnostics, and vendor negotiations to senior management.
  • Educate teams on inventory management systems and build upon a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through constant collaboration.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all lease and build-out activities are compliant with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor relationships, project delays, or non-compliance.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for lease and buildout processes, diagnostics supplies, and vendor management.
  • Regularly assess and report on vendor performance, buildout progress, and lease status to leadership.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

●        3 years of demonstrated success in management of healthcare facility logistical needs

●        Strong knowledge of the day-to-day operational needs of a cardiovascular practice

●        Demonstrated skill and experience in working with and managing diagnostic equipment, testing facilities, and patient care environment logistics

 

Competencies:

·         Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost management.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

·         Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, as well as talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee may lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
