What are the responsibilities and job description for the Invoicing Specialist - Commercial Insurance position at USI Holdings Corporation?

General Description: Support commercial lines account management team with all invoicing activities for assigned region. Resolve any associated accounting discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide internal invoicing assistance to Commercial Lines Account Managers.
- Complete data entry required to create accurate Sagitta invoices as submitted by account managers.
- As directed, either return invoices to the requesting account manager or send invoices and accompanying documentation directly to clients.
- Resolve accounting discrepancy tasks. Work with account management team and National Accounting Center.
- Assist account management team in delivering client service and meeting client retention goals.
- Maintain accurate information in agency management systems.
- Collaborate with regional finance team on producer commission discrepancies.
- Complete tasks in accordance with USI best practices and service standards for invoicing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2 years' experience in a Commercial Lines agency.
- College degree preferred.
- Intermediate understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, including admitted and non-admitted carrier.
- Familiarity with accounting as it relates to insurance premium/commission transactions.
- In depth knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight. Includes intermediate knowledge of Sagitta invoicing.
- Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain relationships with other departments.
- Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and further professional development.
- Open to feedback and coaching.
