Company Overview: Join our dedicated claims team, specializing in professional claims including Directors and Officers, Errors and Omissions, and Cyber Liability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Management:
Manage claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring thorough investigations and accurate documentation.
- Coverage Verification:
Review the first notice of loss and interpret policy details to confirm coverage. Prepare position letters for policyholders.
- Investigative Duties:
Gather facts, statements, and documents; identify joint tortfeasors; conduct scene investigations.
- File Management:
Set and adjust reserves based on liability and damage evaluations, guiding claims toward settlement or trial.
- Customer Service:
Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries, adhering to service standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
3 to 7 years in claims handling or litigation; experience with professional claims is a plus.
- Education:
Advanced degrees or JD preferred; relevant designations (CPCU, AEI, RPLU, INS) are advantageous.
- Licenses:
Required state licenses must be current.
