About Us: Join our innovative claims team dedicated to providing exceptional service in evaluating complex professional claims, including Directors and Officers, Errors and Omissions, and Cyber Liability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Claims Management:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of claims, from initial assessment to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations and document all findings.
- Coverage Analysis:
- Review the first notice of loss and interpret policy language to confirm coverage.
- Prepare and send position letters (disclaimers, reservations of rights) to policyholders.
- Investigation:
- Gather pertinent facts, statements, and documents.
- Identify joint tortfeasors and conduct scene investigations.
- File Oversight:
- Set and adjust initial reserves as needed.
- Ensure proactive management of claims towards settlement or trial.
- Customer Engagement:
- Respond to inquiries promptly, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3 to 7 years in claims handling or comparative litigation, with a focus on professional claims preferred.
- Education:
- Advanced degrees or JD are a plus; relevant designations (CPCU, AEI, RPLU, INS) are advantageous.
- Licenses:
- Appropriate state licenses required.
