Job Summary
The School of Kinesiology and Nutrition at The University of Southern Mississippi is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor. This is a semester-by-semester, temporary appointment based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Multiple opportunities across a variety of courses are available and applicants should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Strength and conditioning (CSCS certification)/Weight Training
- SCUBA
- First-Aid/CPR
- Physical Education
- Sport Coaching Education (experience coaching individual or multiple sports)
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Exercise Science
- Exercise Physiology
- Exercise Psychology
- Sports Psychology
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate
and/or graduate coursework in the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition.
- Maintaining course
shells in Canvas for each course.
- Assessing student
learning outcomes in assigned courses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
