Job Summary
The School of Education at the
University of Southern Mississippi (USM) invites applicants for new a
full-time, visiting instructor position beginning in August 2021. This is an
exciting opportunity to work with students from across the nation in a growing,
diverse educational administration and leadership program. The Educational
Administration graduate program faculty currently provide training with
concentration in K-12 building and district level administration. We are especially interested in candidates
whose training backgrounds include bridging research and practice, working with
diverse P-12 populations, and analyzing P-12 achievement data, as well as P-12
leadership. Our faculty have established records of scholarship in the
areas of leadership development, conflict management, and school board and
superintendent relations. We aim to
recruit applicants who will provide impactful instruction, and who will
emphasize training graduate students to become productive and thoughtful
practitioners. The School of Education’s Educational Administration programs
include a Master of Education degree, an Education Specialist degree, a
Doctor of Education degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy
degree. Program delivery includes face-to-face, online, and hybrid
formats. Qualified applicants will be prepared
to contribute to the teaching mission of the School of Education at the
graduate level.
