Job Summary
The School of Education at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) invites applicants for three (3) tenure-track positions (2 assistant professor rank and 1 assistant/associate rank beginning in August 2025 with requirements to be physically present on the Hattiesburg campus. We aim to recruit applicants who will emphasize training students to become productive and thoughtful researchers and practitioners. Area of research interest is open. This position will support programs both within the School of Education including the Ph.D. in Research, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment program. These The programs within the School of Education include master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees. Courses include face-to-face, online, and hybrid delivery formats. Qualified applicants will be prepared to contribute to the mission of the School of Education at the graduate level.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching and mentoring graduate students in research classes across programs.
- Contributing to the mission of the university and profession through service activities.
- Conducting and disseminating high-quality independent research
- Performing other duties as assigned.
