USP is recruiting for a Rockville-based senior leadership position, responsible for providing financial and operational oversight for a large, global health program. The Director will work closely with and provide oversight to a team of resources based in Rockville, regional hubs, and country offices. The position, which is contingent on award, is responsible for high-level financial management and operational stewardship to include contracts and grants / sub-awards management and oversight of procurement (goods and services) globally, to enable the timely and effective implementation of the program’s technical activities.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years relevant experience leading financial and operational management of USAID-funded programs at regional and / or global level.
- The successful applicant will possess significant experience managing all aspects of finance, grants, contracts, sub-awards and procurement on USAID-funded programs.
