About the Position
This RN position requires a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest perinatal nursing practices and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions, identify risks, and develop strategies to prevent complications.
- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient interactions and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN in an L&D unit.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 90 days of employment.
