As a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will provide production standards and inputs necessary to support planning, capacity acquisition, and overall operational performance. You will contribute to the improvement of production efficiency by observing, collecting, and analyzing data related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and resources. Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain accurate production standard times for manufactured components and assemblies.
- Create and utilize models and tools to calculate key production metrics such as takt time, changeover recommendations, batch sizes, and other performance metrics to support efficient delivery schedules.
- Assess, design, and improve workstation layouts to optimize ergonomics, material flow, and productivity.
- Provide productivity assessments and insights to support the evaluation and acquisition of new manufacturing capabilities and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational goals are met and continuous improvements are implemented effectively.
