As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll play a mission-critical role in crafting safety-critical control software that powers a new era of gas turbine engines—delivering exceptional efficiency, real-time diagnostics, and next-level cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded control software in accordance with DO-178C standards for safety-critical applications
• Support software architecture and integration activities across multiple components and teams
• Contribute to the setup and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and high-quality development
• Participate in the definition and improvement of software development processes to meet both technical and compliance objectives
• Collaborate with certification authorities and internal teams to ensure all requirements and compliance standards are met
• Assist with software/hardware integration and system-level testing, including issue resolution and debugging

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of software engineering experience, or
• Master’s degree with related experience, or PhD/JD
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance (if required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience developing embedded, safety-critical software
• Proficiency in C, C , Python, and/or Groovy
• Experience with DO-178C and safety-critical system development
• Familiarity with model-based design (e.g., Simulink)
• Experience with software architecture and system integration
• Knowledge of gas turbine engine control systems or similar high-performance applications
• Experience using CI/CD and test automation frameworks, such as Jenkins

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
