As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll play a mission-critical role in crafting safety-critical control software that powers a new era of gas turbine engines—delivering exceptional efficiency, real-time diagnostics, and next-level cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded control software in accordance with DO-178C standards for safety-critical applications
- Support software architecture and integration activities across multiple components and teams
- Contribute to the setup and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and high-quality development
- Participate in the definition and improvement of software development processes to meet both technical and compliance objectives
- Collaborate with certification authorities and internal teams to ensure all requirements and compliance standards are met
- Assist with software/hardware integration and system-level testing, including issue resolution and debugging
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of software engineering experience, or
- Master’s degree with related experience, or PhD/JD
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance (if required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience developing embedded, safety-critical software
- Proficiency in C, C , Python, and/or Groovy
- Experience with DO-178C and safety-critical system development
- Familiarity with model-based design (e.g., Simulink)
- Experience with software architecture and system integration
- Knowledge of gas turbine engine control systems or similar high-performance applications
- Experience using CI/CD and test automation frameworks, such as Jenkins
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
