Role description
Project Manager
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven IT Project Manager with experience working in the retail sector and has worked on Cloud, application and ERP projects.
Location (Remote with the occasional travel to client site)
Duration 6-month FTC or Inside of IR35
About the role
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects successfully. We also value strong leadership, organizational abilities, and the aptitude to drive projects to completion on time and within budget. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budgetary constraints
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, schedule, resources, and risks, ensuring alignment with company and stakeholder objectives.
- Team Coordination: Lead and manage cross-functional teams (internal and external) through project phases to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or failures.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective execution of all project phases.
- Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet the quality standards and requirements, addressing issues as they arise.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and project deliverables.
- Post-Project Review: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess successes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
Experience:
- Experience in managing complex projects(Experience managing ERP or SAP-finance implementations is desirable)
- Strong project management skills with a focus on time, scope, and cost management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Exposure to large-scale, multi-departmental projects.
- Familiarity with Agile or Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and address potential project challenges proactively.
- Adaptability: Comfort in adjusting to project changes and evolving business needs.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2,
