Recruiter Overview
As a Recruiter for UST, you will strive for staffing results to support our growing business. This position is fast, exciting, high-volume recruiting! In this role you will manage job boards, message passive applicants, and make 50-75 outbound calls to candidates daily. Our ideal candidate is passionate about fostering an exceptional experience for internal and external customers. To be successful in this role you will need to have a sense of urgency, a strong work ethic, and a drive to succeed.
This role includes a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to)
- Create job postings that are articulate, professional, and attention grabbing to attract the right candidates
- Keep job postings current on all job boards including social media
- Proactively source candidates through passive messaging, and other tactics as necessary
- Review all resumes and conduct the first phone interview for each qualified candidate
- Serve as liaison and point of contact for every candidate through the interview process
- Maintain interview notes and tracking sheets
- Builds relationships with hiring managers and leads the execution and implementation of recruitment activities
- Actively keep up to date with recruiting industry changes and market trends
- Continuously strive to find efficiencies and improvements as they relate to the recruiting process
- Ensure ATS and all other reporting is updated
- Administrative tasks and other projects as needed
Requirements
- 1-3 years of high-volume staffing experience
- Travel may be required through growth of the business
- Previous transportation industry experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Problem solving and creative thinking skills
- Multi-task and provide thorough follow-up
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
