You Are
The intern will be helping in CodeCrafter product development with the following tasks including but not limited to:

Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $20-24/hr
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
The intern will be helping in CodeCrafter product development with the following tasks including but not limited to:

- Assist in developing and refining heuristics and prompt engineering techniques for UST CodeCrafter.
- Contribute to analyzing legacy codebases (e.g., SQL, Teradata, COBOL) to optimize automated conversions to modern languages (e.g., PySpark, Java, Python).
- Collaborate on testing, validating, and documenting code conversions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the team in enhancing CodeCrafter’s features through iterative feedback and improvements.
What You Need
- Bachelors or Masters in Data Science
- Demonstrable work with Generative AI
