Job Description
· Client Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our Executive Transport team in San Antonio, TX.

At Client, our Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Client Company. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of supply chain experts making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
· Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
· Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
· Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
· Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
· Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
· Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
· Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
· This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· Bachelor’s degree or higher.
· 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
· 5 years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.
· 5 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
· 5 years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
· 5 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
· 5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
· 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
