Customer Order Representative | Sharonville Ohio Plant
DUTIES:
- Responsible for updating the customer release daily and report to management
- Ensure that EDI, DDL and ASN’s are performed to customer requirements daily for all customers
- Communicate and resolve customer complaints via phone or email
- Maintain customer relations for parts shipment
- Order shipping supplies
- Report about short shipments or any inquires
- Perform manual data entry for non-EDI customers
- Maintain delivery performance metrics and track expedited freight
- Maintain necessary records (filing, etc.)
- Notify management when customer/supplier specific documentation or process requirements change
- Maintain consumable items for shipping/packing department with its purchase orders
- Monitor/compare finish good products with correct labeling requirement.
- All other duties assigned by management
SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Unload all shipments in the receiving area.
- Confirm Packing List P/N Date, Qty, etc. from shipment that is in receiving.
- Check driver’s paperwork to ensure all data is correct from material releases.
- After confirmation, sign the Bill of Lading, make copy, return original bill of lading to driver and forward copy to Quality (Receiving Inspection).
- Once QC performs their product check, separate and store all receivables in their proper location.
- Enter received shipment into Plex, P/N, Qty, Lot No., etc. and print labels.
- Print Plex labels for all packages received and apply to all packages accurately.
- Must interact with Plex inventory control system to identify and update physical locations for packages, boxes, parts and supplies received into and stored in the plant using handheld scanners and computers.
- Load and unload returnable dunnage inbound/outbound shipments from trucks, complete shipping paperwork.
- Move empty totes or skids that are in the receiving area or aisle to appropriate location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing environment in logistics/shipping
- Ability to complete certification to operate powered lift equipment including standing/ride on forklift
- EDI, DDL and ASN experience
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- PLEX experience preferred
- Excellent organization and communication skill (writing and oral)
- Ability to meet deadlines with results in a timely manner
- Ability to create reports utilizing analyzed data, charts, and pictures
