POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources (Director, HR / HRD) will have multi-site responsibility for our Tyler Hospital, Rehab Hospital, our Olympic Center Leadership as well as EMS and Air1, consisting of more than 2,800 employees. The HR Director possess the human resources expertise required to lead the entire HR function for the business. The HR Director partners with facility leadership and their respective teams to drive results based on business strategy and objectives. The HR Director will guide and provide consultation to C-level leaders in all aspects of HR to include DEI initiatives, employee engagement, talent management, organizational design, resourcing, change management, performance management, and employee relations. The HR Director role is responsible for creating a HR agenda that aligns with corporate HR strategies to support local interests and conditions. The HR Director will serve as a role model and mentor to HR Business Partners who support assigned facilities.

Responsibilities : Strategic Objectives
- Partners with business leaders and executives to guide the development of HR strategies and approaches to attract, develop, and retain talent in the business that are aligned with Ardent Corporate standards and practices.
- Partners with HR corporate colleagues to prioritize objectives for region and / or facility to ensure that strategic and operational goals are achieved.
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategy to include ensuring enterprise-wide procedures and processes are followed in all aspects of the business.
- Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the HR strategy.
- Ensures HR Strategy is aligned with department strategy and uses feedback from the department to improve HR procedures and services.
- Lead the HR vision, including role modelling great talent and team leadership and taking an active role in ensuring the HR Operating Model, is embedded successfully
- Conduct performance analyses on existent strategies, procedures, and policies, identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable and sustainable solutions
- Uses organizational savvy to assess issues and present relevant solutions and lead management and stakeholders through a collaborative and shared decision making process
Champion of Change :
Identify and understand the need for change and develop strategies in alignment with corporate HR Strategy and facility leadership team
Talent Management :
Onboard new leaders with a detailed review of current talent, performance of team, employee engagement, and talent acquisition in progress.
