Job Description
The Center for Substance Use Training and Telementoring (C-STAT) by Be Well Institute is seeking an Extension of Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) Program Coordinator. Project ECHO is a collaborative, telementoring model for building online communities of practice amongst healthcare providers or other professionals. Be Well Institute is working to transform how people living with substance use, substance use disorder (SUD) and / or mental illness throughout Texas are cared for and treated. Our mission is to provide access to high-quality, low-barrier, evidence-based care throughout Texas.
Job Summary :
Under general supervision from the Program Director and Program Manager, the ECHO Coordinator will be responsible of the day-to-day activities of the ECHO programs including planning, coordinating, and implementing different teleECHO programs. This position will act as the primary liaison for speakers, case presenters, and hub members. The coordinator will provide custodial management of all documentation pertaining to current ECHOs, including didactic presentations, case presentations, recommendations, supplementary handouts, etc. The coordinator will attend and contribute to the strategic planning sessions for newly constructed ECHOs and existing hub teams for assigned ECHOs. They are responsible for accurate data entry, running routine reports, tracking ECHO attendance, maintaining documentation for continued accreditation, and assisting in recruitment for speakers and cases for ECHO sessions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the logistics and programmatic aspects of program development and implementation, including but not limited to, advanced scheduling of ECHO sessions, serving as main point of contact with stakeholders and subject matter experts, management of all documentation pertaining to ECHOs, etc.
- Assists in the recruitment of experts, providers, organizations, and case presenters that contributes to the quality of the ECHO sessions.
- Continually build and maintain relationships with existing ECHO stakeholders, both internal and external, to include raising the profile.
- Liaise with continuing education colleagues for CME and CNE accreditation of curriculum.
- Attends teleECHO programs and assist ECHO staff and Hub members with their needs to ensure that program runs smoothly.
- Assists with marketing efforts for the program (e.g., social media posts, eblasts, YouTube, etc.).
- Create invoices for all speakers and ensures payments are processed and received in a timely manner.
- Provide oversight and produce reports needed to fulfill obligations for state agencies.
- Reviews and reformats material to be used during educational programs.
- Understands and adjusts presentation's learning objectives to align with Bloom's taxonomy and other continuing education requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge coordinating large educational events, including food and beverage coordination, vendor contracts, and continuing education credits.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
