Under general supervision, responsible for providing advanced technical skills and supervision of work units in the operation and maintenance of equipment in the utility distribution systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling various systems and processes within a designated control room.
Here at UTHSCSA Utilities extensive Control Room training is provided prior to any shift assignment. (5 – 6mo) We operate 7 days/ 24hrs year round, three 8hr shifts.
Assigned shift – no shift work
